A bit of watercolour play Australiana Bush vibes...
As we get into the swing of January and perhaps back at it.. I hope you can still have a laugh.
I usually work on a few pieces at once as I dont really know how they will end up. This one for this weeks @colorcrushcreative Under the sky palette wasnt going to well so I cut it up and added some shapes from previously coloured pieces which matched perfectly.. I was surprised at the end of the session as it was not smooth sailing working with these colours! #cccpalette33

Day 10: artists hands Stubby fingers & wrinkly but they do the job. They often seem to be picking up leaves and various fallen foliage..theyre always up to something #21daysinmyartworld
Day 9: where the magic happens... The kitchen is about 25 yrs old but the shed did get renovated.. over the years its been a work space kids craft room part music room.. NOW I inhabit it. I like to feign a sense of organisation materials in boxes - ready to go when needed.. I do have lots of dead plant matter around but like to shed it regularly.. and also have my fave specimens stored. Today involved a 9 hour drive through some lovely Aussie landscape straight down the Hume highway to Melbourne
Day 5: favourite tool. I think its the combo of my ecoline brush markers & the brush/waterpen thingo.. when travelling a few months ago I just packed my aquarelle markers & this brush worked a treat @taraleaver #21daysinmyartworld
On now at the National Museum of Australia Midawarr Harvest. Two artists two completely different approaches but one abiding passion- to celebrate the natural bounty to be found in Northern Australia. The art of Mulkun Wirrpanda and John Wolseley.
