Cross-country skiing can be a brisk, energizing winter exercise. Which might be why our Elf On The Shelf has created his own ski gear out of swizzle sticks, marshmallows and Popsicle sticks. Watch out for the moguls, buddy! Oh wait, it’s just a bag of frozen broccoli…
Don’t look now, but our Elf On The Shelf has turned a fridge shelf into a private bowling alley with baby carrots as pins and an olive bowling ball. Elf-styling tip: to help an Elf stand, you can brace him with pipe cleaners, or just prop him up next to a wall or sturdy gallon of milk.
Ever get that urge to dance the night away? Our Elf On The Shelf sure does. First, he build a disco ball out of Christmas lights and then he spiffed up his dance-floor wardrobe with pom-pom gloves and boots. If your elf’s feeling a little tired, you can always help prop him up with craft supplies like popsicle sticks or pipe cleaners.
Looks like we caught Elf On The Shelf getting into some gift-hijacking hijinks. He lost control of his toy truck stacked with ornaments and bows. And now he’s trying to use the magic eraser to cover his tracks. Here’s hoping his hallway collision insurance is up to date!
Merry Christmas from the crisper! A veggie Christmas wreath is as easy as 1, 2, 3. 1 – arrange lettuce leaves into a circle, 2 – cut cherry tomatoes into decorative ‘berries’, 3 – use a veggie peeler to make a carrot ribbon and top it all off. As least, that’s how our Elf On The Shelf told us that SHE made it happen.
Meet the Elf On The Shelf: International Man Of Mischief. How do we know he’s mischievous? With this one simple test: 1 - Leave a fresh-baked pan of holiday treats out on the counter overnight. 2 - When you wake up, check to see if that Elf has snuck onto the counter, and cut one for himself RIGHT FROM THE DELICIOUS CENTER OF THE PAN.
Crazy Comfy Candy: Do towels REALLY belong on the towel bar? Our Elf On The Shelf sure doesn’t think so. By simply adding a little ribbon, he’s put a new twist on towels and transformed them into oversized plush Christmas candies.
Here Comes The Ice Cream Man: An ice cream snowman? That’s just the kind of surprise Elfy is scooping up overnight in the freezer. Three scoops of vanilla ice cream and a little candy, that’s all it takes. And, a tiny top hat if you really, really want, but honestly, that’s optional.

Pancakes and Syrup (and syrup. and syrup.) Nothing starts an elf’s day off the right way like a heaping pile of pancakes. Of course, elf pancakes are about the size of a quarter, but really, that’s good news for 2 reasons. First – tiny pancakes cook in about 10 seconds. The other reason - A bottle of syrup will last you approximately forever.

Snacky Snowman: Christmas means that there’s no shortage of snacks around the house. So it makes sense that an energetic elf snagged mini-powdered donuts, pretzels sticks and candy to build a Snack-tastic holiday snowman.

Paper Towel Self-Portrait Admit it – Elfy has a lot of time to get into mischief while the rest of us are sleeping. But it’s not all goofing of; sometimes he turns mischief time into a masterpiece with magic markers, paper towels and his sweet self-portrait skills.

Making His Mark Sometimes our Elf is sweet and sometimes he’s a little sneaky. Last night – definitely sneaky. Look who we caught carving his name in the trunk of the Christmas tree with a pocketknife. If your Elf is pressed for time, a sticker or magic marker would work fine, too!
