DIY neck coolers! Such a cheap, easy craft and SO great on these hot summer days.

I just heard about this at physical therapy! Homemade Ice packs: 1 part rubbing alcohol to 3 parts water, gets really cold, but never hardens so you can manipulate it. every athlete (or mom) should pin this!

Rice Bag warmer - Make one for every bed in your home. Heat this in the microwave before going to bed, and you'll have a non-electric way to climb into a warm, cozy spot. If you use enough rice ( 3 or more pounds), it will stay warm all night long. I make two "pillowcases" from tea towels. Place the rice bag inside one and then the other from the other direction. This keeps it nice and clean, and the pillowcases may be washed easily. It works well to ease cramps, too.

handwarmer rice bags. Stocking stuffer!! Perfect for my girlz with chill hands!!

Boo boo bugs. Fill them with rice & warm them or keep them cool in the freezer. These are great, love that they can be both warm or cold! Perfect for growing pains and bumps and bruises!
