Remember This, Childhood Memories, Elementary School, Memory Lane, Playing Mash
remember this!? i wonder how these things became "viral" in the 80's pre-internet days...
I REMEMBER THIS!!! MASH Game (the fortune-telling game of pre-teen girls in the 60's, 70's & 80's) MASH stands for Mansion - Apartment - Shack - House1. Write down five each of the following: names, types of cars, colors, number of children, places, and careers. 2. Then, one person starts drawing a spiral on a piece of paper and the person whose fortune is being told tells her when to stop. Then, you count across the spiral top to bottom to get the magic number for the game.
I remember playing MASH on the playground at school nearly every day! *LOVE*
Bahaha what 90s kid didnt play MASH!?!?! Lol
So remember this! Ah, the good ole days.
Oh do I remember playing this 80's baby
brings back childhood memories
Anyone remember playing MASH??? You know...MASH! The elementary school game that foretold your future on paper. Would you live in a Mansion, Apartment, Shack, or House? And with which boy? (And you weren't allowed to pick all cute ones; you had to play fair by throwing in an icky one or two. Karma demands justice after all.) And driving how many kids in what kind of car? This game is thorough. It even predicts what city and what career you will have. Or whatever other things you must know about your future. Remember now? Do girls still play this?? I sure hope so because guess what... It's true! Who knew that I actually would end up driving a minivan and living in a shack... ...as a mommy of four kids...Did I just say four? Yes. Yes I did. But it's with the love of my life, "Joe"... So that makes it all okay. Wanna play?? Find the rules HERE to play it old school or go HERE to play online. BUT be careful! This game is powerful! Are you prepared for the consequences??? P.S. Now do you get why I have been such a delinquent blogger lately???
Before texting... Fun folded notes....i often think about how my children are going to miss out on writing/folding notes...it was so much fun!

A walk down memory lane... Remember that cute boy that sat in front of you in Algebra class ;) did you pass a note to him? I did.. well in the form of a tiny spiral notebook, back and forth everyday. That was my favorite class that semester. It was fun to write and pass notes back and forth then, in class and between classes. We got kinda creative with the folding, and oh my gosh!!! what about the times when the note got lost.. and the thought of who will find it and what will they know...
Haha I remember passing notes around like crazy in middle school and high school lol
80's / 90's kid ~ before text messages. Don't get caught passing notes
the good ole days. Still have mine from high school and middle school.
