Duct tape flags on pencils so you know which tables returned them

"Must-Do/Can-Do" center approach. 12 literacy centers, but only 6 centers are in a rotation at a given time. Students sit at tables in classroom, center rotation is by tables. Students go to one center per day.

OK, this is brilliant. Zip tie a (sturdy) pencil pouch to each student desk to hold supplies that students will use on a regular basis (like scissors, tape/glue for INS).

Having a variety of reading centers will give students a print-rich environment

Focus Sticks

BRILLIANT! When cutting, students put trash in the "tidy tub" then at the end of the activity one student empties the tidy tub in the big trash can. No more scrap paper all over the floor and no more 20+ kids running to the trash can!

Center Rotations: center icons, charts, and student cards!

Tuesday's Tip for Teachers: Need a creative class management tool that's a bit different? When the class works well together, they get a piece to a puzzle. When the puzzle is complete, they earn a reward! This not only promotes teamwork and togetherness but you can also use the puzzle as an example of many pieces coming together to create a whole, just like a class full of students.

I love the specific choices... Would be quick but give parents good info!

Student Friendly Behavior Notice for Classroom Management

Love this! File crate with each student's name on it. File work for them to do when they are "done" that is differentiated. you can also put work in there that they need extra practice with. I'm thinking big YES!! :)

Add duct tape to pencils to keep them from disappearing :) Colors can match the color of the table. Easy to see where pencils belong and all tables have enough.
