Young Inventor Nicholas Metzler, Creator of “Squashed”. Meet Nicholas Metzler, 18, from Orland Park, Illinois. Nick is president of his own company, the creator of the popular board game “Squashed,” and winner of the “Young Inventor Challenge” at The Chicago Toy & Game Fair (ChiTAG) two years in a row (2010 and 2011).

Blokus - French inventor Bernard Tavitian holds a Master's degree in Mathematics from the University of Paris VI, an Engineering Degree from the prestigious Ecole Centrale in Paris, a Doctorate in Biophysics from the University of Paris VI and has held a post-doctoral position in the Department of Biochemistry at Yale University in the United States. He is now a 46-year-old retiree living off the royalties. :)

Matthew and Jean Rivaldi, founders of Wiggity Bang Games LLC, are on a mission. They’ve made it their business to bring people together the good old-fashioned way — face-to-face. In 2005, this husband and wife team, based in southern California, debuted their first game “Quelf,” and began selling it directly to independent retailers, eventually licensing it (a dream).
