Fabric or scrapbook paper covered ceiling in a nursery – Ceiling Panels – we did this by buying very inexpensive foam boards from Home Depot, cutting them up into the different sized squares, and covering them with different fabrics. We attached them to the ceiling with velcro and hot glue at first, but they started falling off, so we reinforced them with nails. cool idea @ Home Decor Ideas

Great idea! Use an oil drip pan from a hardware store that has an automotive section, secure to the wall w/some heavy duty velcro strips (& paint a color?)... and you have a magnetic surface for a kids room! We have a stainless steel fridge, so no place for our alphabet magnets. -Kids play room. ♥
