Who remembers buying records?
Record store in the 60s
hmv-1960s-records-music: kids being born today probably will never see the inside of a record store. And why would they? Buying music used to involve wandering round a store browsing, picking up things based on cover art, putting them down based on scornful glares from record store employees, and generally being outside your house. Now buying music amounts to nothing more than a click of your mouse. #nostalgia

Yes, shopping on iTunes is a lot easier, but I feel sorry for people who will never know the unique joy of browsing in a record store. I would spend hours pouring over albums, savoring the thrill of the hunt.
I made the mistake of asking a young gal for an old "record" (not realizing they would now be on cds). She looked at me like "WHAT'S THAT?" I answered her stare with, "They're like a HUGE, black, cd." The manager, my age, was laughing hysterically........but came to my rescue and showed me where the "records remade into cds" were stored. Bahaahaha! I can still see the look on her face.........Probably had her parents get one out that night.........

After several glasses of specially fermented herbal mead, things could get decidedly out of hand at the Royal Academy of Magick staff Halloween party.
Wishing you a happy Halloween, with an Edwardian postcard of ‘cheeky witches’
