Reuse an old tree to make a log pathway in your garden. Good use of "yard" trees and other wood that can't be milled; works much better in climates without termites. Good drainage under the log rounds will make the path last longer.
You can test your own soil! Take two separate cups and add your soil sample to each. In one add vinegar and the other add some water, stir and add baking soda. If nothing at all happens your soil is some what PH balanced.
August Container Gardens: The Good, The Bad & The Ugly
Hens and chicks planted in old boots.makes a stunning display anywhere in the garden.love this! This same idea with cowboy boots is cute too. If you have a thin metal fence, tie the pull loops together and hang over each side of the metal fence.
Didn't know whether to put this in outdoor spaces folder or house folder! I just love this front yard full of flowers. Think they really pop with neutral color house. Would not be as vibrant next to a red brick house, for example.
Beautiful display of landscaping with evergreens. This is a berm built for privacy. It serves it's purpose well. This is beautiful all season. Allergic to spruce so would have to do something else there. Otherwise this is beautiful and functional.
