How to Paint a Plein Air Landscape. Art League instructor Sara Linda Poly demos a landscape during her class on plein air, or outdoor, painting. This particular Tuesday morning class took place at River Farm, the home of the American Horticultural Society in Alexandria, VA. Sara's landscape looks out over the Potomac and the Maryland shore.
