This wood-and-glass door nearly fades into the background as it's painted the same ivory hue as the rest of the house and could easily be mistaken for a window. Would like this kind of door for the back door.not the front!
I love curb appeal projects! For Susan's beautiful home, I added lanterns from McLean Lighting, and selected Farrow and Ball Blue Gray 91 for the front door. Planters are from Restoration Hardware (entrance step curb appeal)
Love these plants for the front planter box - create a sense of privacy at the front door. Shade loving container gardening, planters for front porch, ferns, hydrangea and sweet potato vine. Gorgeous and welcoming.
Large container with Sword Fern, White Caladium, Pink Impatien, 'Wandering Jew' (Tradescantia zebrina, formerly known as Zebrina pendula).
Versatile Majesty Palms We love to use inexpensive Majesty palms everywhere -- in rooms that need a little life and on patios and porches. It makes a gorgeous “thriller” plant in a big outdoor container -- with showy Tropic Escape mandevilla and hibiscus surrounding its base. Botanic name: Ravenea rivularis Care tip: Majesty palms like moist soil, but don’t allow them to dry out or sit in water.
