Tasty n Sons' John Gorham re-creates an Israeli classic. This is a different take on Shakshuka. I like the idea of baking the eggs instead of trying to poach them in the sauce.

This is a slightly modified version of a popular Middle Eastern breakfast dish. I love this recipe because it is easy, healthy, and satisfying. You can also make this with fresh tomato and jalapeno, but I like to use the canned version so I can make it whenever I want with ingredients from my pantry
Yummy breakfast food! The best part is that the sauce tastes better the longer it sits, so you can prepare it the night before with no guilt! Just drop the eggs in 10 minutes before you plan to eat!

Shakshuka Recipe – Spicy Tomatoes and Eggs Breakfast from Israel. Yummy, must try at home!!
Pinner said: The first time my fiancé made this dish for me, I was blown away by how incredibly healthy and low calorie it is. Shakshuka is a hot and spicy traditional dish that originates from Israel which consists mostly of tomatoes and eggs. But my fiancé has enhanced the traditional Shakshuka recipe with some tasty (and healthy) additions. His version of Shakshuka is astoundingly low calorie, and the nutritional statistics make it one of the healthiest home-cooked meals I’ve ever had.
