982. Anira’s little nook was the one with twinkle lights; it was a shiny cozy place to cuddle, even if there wasn’t anyone else home. Those lonely days turned out to be more frequent than Anira expected but the dog worked out a sort of patrol schedule - learning when the squirrels would visit the yard, when the mailman would be delivering, and when the evil neighbor dog would walk by. Anira was pretty sure it was a poodle, the worst kind of neighbor dog. #982.
981. “Alright, so... I’m losing?” He sighed and nodded, glancing over the three remaining black pieces on the checkerboard. “How are you so good at this?” “I’ve had a lot of slow nights.” “Well now I’m even more sad.” He moved a black piece half-heartedly. “Shut up,” said his friend, hopping over the last three pieces with one of his and getting up to stretch. #981.
980. The comment in the med student subreddit started a whole frenzy; a small group decided they needed to find out if it was accurate. Most of the subreddit agreed it was a bad idea to break into the morgue just to test if a corpse will get goosebumps. But a decent chunk of users decided the majority was lame and that was enough to motivate the mission. #980.
978. “You’re saying you voluntarily went into a creepy underground tunnel?” She gazed over the rim of her glasses as she asked, an eyebrow slightly raised. “I mean, I had a flashlight. And it was like midday.” She pushed her glasses back up her nose and scoffed: “So we’re doing it right this time. Right?” #978.
