Peel carrot and cut into sticks (similar to McDonald's french fries!!) Combine carrot sticks with olive oil, chopped rosemary, sugar, salt & pepper. Stir until all are evenly coated. Airfry the sticks for around 12 min at 200 degree. Serve hot or at room temperature. < It's an absolutely healthy version of FRIES!! >
Airfry 2 baking potatoes for around 45 min at 200 degree. When cooked, slice off thin top (lengthwise) from potato. Spoon out potato flesh, leaving enough to support shell. Mash the flesh & mix with butter, 1 egg yolk, nutmeg powder, salt, pepper & 4 tbsp whipped cream. Stuff the mixture into the shells, sprinkle with some cheese and airfry for another 5 min. < Airfry time for the baking potatoes depends very much on the size. >
Airfryer Sweet potato crisps These were a little trickier to air-fry as the sweet potatoes were shaved so thin, they clung onto each other once they were coated in a bit of oil. So I had to be careful with how they were placed in the Airfryer but other than that, these were definitely a delicious wholesome alternative to its deep-fried twin!
Homemade Croutons Stale bread, Butter (unsalted) Olive oil (optional) Method Preheat Airfryer for 2 - 3 mins @ 120C - 140C. (Can use a higher temperature and cut down on the cooking time but don't go beyond 160C with Airfryer.) Cube some stale bread to desired size. Toss in melted butter and olive oil until well coated. Pour in cubed bread and cook for 2-3 mins. Toss and fry for another 2 - 3 mins. Cool completely and store in airtight container
Airfryer Crispy duck pies I've been wanting to use this recipe from Donna Hay's cookbook No Time To Cook for a while now. Finely chopped roast duck is mixed with chopped green onion, hoisin sauce and plum sauce and encased between two gow gee wrappers. These were air-fried and ready in about 10 minutes and were unbelievably scrumptious.
