Lovely Lencos

This board is to show Lenco turntables where The Wand Tonearm® is mounted directly on the original top plate without drilling a new hole. While a special mounting kit is needed, it is possible and the original lifter may be used if so desired. So an eclectic collection of users and cartridges from around the world, with England, Malaysia, Denmark, France and New Zealand shown here. There will be a separate board for The Wand Tonearm on Lencos using PTP (Peters Top plate) and custom plinths.

This very original Lenco lives in Denmark and owner Tomas commented "and with a Astatic mf-200 on Wand it sounds great..cant really ask for more, i had many turntables, and in the end i really like the Lenco best, its attack and timing and bass slam, better than Thorens 124 and garrard 301 in my opinon, and with the Wand arm everthing is "Spot-On"...finially...Great tonearm."

A classic dynamic combination! Decca Jubilee / The Wand Tonearm / Lenco turntable. D from Lithuania unsucessfully auditioned two other well known arms before finding a great match with The Wand tonearm,

Lenco / Wand / Decca Wow!
The Decca London is famous for its exciting dynamics, yet maintaining a lyrical midrange. It is a great match with a Lenco but only with the right arm. D. in Lithuania tried two other arms before finding The Wand Tonearm worked brilliantly.

Arm of the Week; Jason from the US has mated a Wand Classic to a Lenco and a Soundcraftsman Zephyr cartridge, running thought some seriously considered gear. He says; Ok. I (we? Ha!) have officially ruined my enjoyment of digital at this point. Even high-resolution digital doesn’t seem to compare, and I have 4 different DACs, all of them at least good. What an arm! Particularly when paired with a cartridge that works well together with it. I’m still trying to get my mind around it.

Wand Tonearm on Lenco
"The sound coming out of my Lenco is nothing short of stunning. Everything that I liked about it is stepped up a fair amount. And the things I had reservations about are completely reversed. Pianos growl, orchestras are like fireworks. Everything in between just sings. I think I got a bit of help from the rest of the updates to the table. But I figure about 80% is your tonearm. I could not be happier about this whole thing." John H USA

Dramatic look, dramatic sound! A Sumiko Blue Point Special mounted on The Wand Tonearm / L75. Daniele (Paris) reported; “After some experiences with Denon DL 103, I have just returned on a Sumiko BPS first version, retipping the stylus from the legendary Torlai in Italy, with your arm the synergy is fantastic.”

Many Wand tonearms are enjoying living in Malaysia and this is a superb photo of Yeap’s one with Decca London fitted. It seems a particularly good combo "Also replaced the rubber mat with the 5mm achromat by funk Now they sound very impressive. Your tonearm can definitely bring out the quality of the decca. The lenco drive like you said is amazing. Now my immedia, air tangent and zyx combo is playing catching up! "
