I got these brown linen trousers at the start of the year but it’s been a few months since I’ve been able to wear them and I’d flat out forgotten how to style them!

Brown linen wasn’t super common on Pinterest but I managed to get some inspo with a few combinations, and also adding “plus size” to the search terms, and looking at brown as a colour not necessarily as just a trouser.

Super happy with how all these outfits came out, 7 new looks to reach for again and again. The only one I probably won’t actually wear is the long cream top and belt as that belt just wasn’t really staying put without belt loops. A lot of it really comes down to the size you’re working with and the material (I find that natural silk fibers hold knots better than synthetics such as polyester and therefor don’t slide as much). Folding a silk scarf on the bias (diagonally) is a great way to get a bit of extra stretch so that it can sit securely while still being flexible.
