Fantastic use of an old pop crate for art supplies. Given that I've just bought Jack washable markers (unlike the kind currently decorating our wall, stairwell and two doors), it's nice to think about future (organized) crafts. #kids
This child's space was created to entertain the kids while mom works out in the next room. Equipped with multiple reading "nooks", a pass through window with window box conceals crayons, markers and paints. Storage under the stairs hide additional toys. Photo by Rosh Sillars. IKEA play kitchen hack. Painted the kitchen and fridge with Waverly chalk paint in Pool, added new hardware from hobby lobby, made a valance and hand towels for the kitchen, recovered the chairs, made a runner, painted the legs and chairs with rustoleum heirloom white spray paint, stained the top with Minwax espresso (sealed with high gloss clear spray paint), sealed the rest with matte clear enamel spray paint.
