Anargyros had originally introduced his Turkish Trophies Cigarettes in 1892. Duke's new all-Turkish tobacco subsidiary re-introduced Turkish Trophies in 1901 with an advertising campaign highlighted by a set of large premium cards that pictured well known stage actresses.
