Quilt as you GO - this is a clearly written tutorial - and because of the fabrics chosen, it is also easy to understand via the pix. I have been looking for a tutorial this understandable. Plus her finished product looks neat/tidy. I have 16x16 dresden blocks that I finished yrs ago I quilt all my quilts on my reg machine & have been worried about putting them together and trying to quilt so I am definitely going to be trying this method of QAYG very good directions. Thank you ladies

Video Tutorial for connecting already quilted blocks. This is a brilliant tutorial....she shows how to machine or hand stitch the blocks together..I wish she had used another colour than black for all the blocks and sashing though. !,

A common comment I hear is how to get the courage to attempt free-motion machine quilting! Trust me, you don’t need courage, just practice! Check out this no-fear way to practice where the stitches are completely camouflaged by textured fabric.

Just made my first sample square and I'm trying to figure out why there is always 1/4" left over at the end of each strip after sewing? I'm going to start another sample square and write down measurements every time I get ready to cut a length. Am I doing this wrong?

Oh dear, I'm sorry I haven't tried this out yet, I hope someone can help you soon

This is a much simpler and effective QAYG method with no ugly sashing or hand stitching. Great tutorial with lots of process pictures to make it clear. A Must to read.

I am working onmy 4th hand pieced hand quilt(4th quilt period) I saw back in the late 80's or early 90's an article on quilt as you go and filed away.I use this method because to me it is such a waste to open up 3 apple boxes with pieced blocks, put together tops and unpieced fabric tht went back to the 1930' up to2007 3 generations of one family and only finding 4 finished quilts

I don't want my quilts stowed away for decades, I want to finish them with the least fuss. And use them.I like nothaving to use a quilting hoop or having to have a large work space. I like being able to take my quilt work with me in the car. Up until the final rows
