Helminth Therapy For Intestinal & Immune Health

Helminth Therapy is being used to heal autoimmune diseases such as Crohn's Disease, Colitis, Asthma, Arthritis, MS and Autism. Research has proven that helminths regulate and maintains our immune system and intestinal health. This board is dedicated to centralizing research and articles about helminth therapy, gut health and their relationship with autoimmune diseases. Practices and outcomes of self-treatment with helminths based on physicians' observations.- Five physicians monitoring more than 700 self-treating patients were interviewed. The results strongly support previous indications that helminth therapy can effectively treat a wide range of allergies, autoimmune conditions and neuropsychiatric disorders, such as major depression and anxiety disorders. Approximately 57% of the self-treating patients observed by physicians in the study had autism.

A single species of gut bacteria can reverse autism-related social behavior in mice

A single species of gut bacteria can reverse autism-related social behavior in mice. June16, 2016 Source:Cell Press Summary:The absence of a one specific species of gut bacteria causes social deficits in mice, researchers report. By adding this bacteria species back to the guts of affected mice, the researchers were able to reverse some of their behavioral deficits, which are reminiscent of symptoms of autism spectrum disorders (ASDs) in humans.
