Lava Lamp: Add some food color to a cup of water. Then fill a vase with 3/4 full vegetable oil. Next add colored water to the vase leaving 1 inch to the top. Break an alka seltzer into tiny pieces and drop them in one piece at a time & watch your lava lamp come to life. You can also take it into a dark room and put a flashlight underneath. X
