Have kids trace their hands and feet on an 18 x 24 piece of paper. Then have them draw in and color the rest of their bodies to look like they are falling in space. Use our Infinity Markers for this fun project.
After looking at the artwork of Edvard Munch's "The Scream", we talked about the meaning behind it and why it was so important on the art world. We then talked about things that make us scream and then painted this clever self portrait of us screaming.

We talked about emotions - that all people have them and that it's ok. we talked about the fact that some people only want to hear/see the 'good' emotions, and that it's really not realistic. the kids agreed that sometimes we experience not so great emotions, and those make the good ones seem that much better. they used line and color to convey specific feelings, and then wrote a short description or poem to go w/ it.."
