The Alchemist - Paulo Coelho "The Alchemist", is an exciting novel that bursts with optimism; it is the kind of novel that tells you that everything is possible as long as you really want it to happen. That may sound like an oversimplified version of new-age philosophy and mysticism, but as Coelho states "simple things are the most valuable and only wise people appreciate them".
“It’s the possibility of having a dream come true that makes life interesting.” - The Alchemist, Paulo Coelho
"simple things are the most valuable and only wise people appreciate them." This is a great book about defining your personal legend. Discover the Universal Language of the Soul.
The Alchemist - Paulo Coelho This book is fantastic. I got it as an audio book to listen to at bed time. Jeremy Irons is the narrator and he does a killer job. Highly recommend!
The Alchemist, by Paulo Coelho. This novel has been translated into more languages than by any other book by a living author.
The Alchemist - Paulo Coelho. I love this book! It really brought insight when I needed it. For a great review go to: http://bookreviews.nabou.com/reviews/thealchemist.html#
A must read for all dreamers out there. Follow them and they will be reality! I <3 Paulo Coelho
One of the best books I've ever read! Full of sign, symbols and life meaning I could relate to.
Dreams, symbols, signs, and adventure follow the reader like echoes of ancient wise voices in "The Alchemist", a novel that combines an atmosphere of Medieval mysticism with the song of the desert. With this symbolic masterpiece Coelho states that we should not avoid our destinies, and urges people to follow their dreams, because to find our "Personal Myth" and our mission on Earth is the way to find "God", meaning happiness, fulfillment, and the ultimate purpose of creation.

The Memory Keeper's Daughter. I have a ragged copy in my personal library, bought at a thrift shop on a whim. It's not of the genre I normally go for, but it was worth it. I liked many of the characters, despite their flaws. I'd recommend it.
memory keepers daughter. I can't remember if we read this one for book club. I thought it was a good read, if a bit sad. I was so annoyed by some of the characters and all their stupid secrets!
The Memory Keeper's Daughter. Read this, then go out and meet a special needs child. He or she will change your life.
