Welcome to the Wearhouse

This board will introduce you to all things Wearhouse! From staff bios to sneak peeks inside the Wearhouse, this board will give you a sense of the work that we do and share some inspirational stories from the youth that we serve.

Lowe's generously donated their time, talent, and materials to give the Treehouse Wearhouse stockroom a new look this month. We are so thankful for their efforts.

What’s a good way to start a Monday? We learned that one of our college-aged Wearhouse volunteers received some holiday spending money from her parents and instead of buying gifts for herself, she picked out some awesome tech donations for our Teen Gift shop. We have the most generous supporters!

Treehouse donor, Avery, crocheted these stuffed animals for our Wearhouse. We are so impressed- Our shoppers are going to love them!

A huge thanks to Hasbro for volunteering in our Wearhouse. They unpacked thousands of toys and tagged them to prepare them for our store!

Slant Clothing Co, a locally operated progressive clothing company, has been able to donate 175 brand new pieces of clothing and a whopping 16 boxes of gently used clothing items to the Treehouse Wearhouse! We love their business model- for each Slant clothing item purchased, a new item is donated on the customer’s behalf by Slant to a child in need. Great work, Slant!

The numbers are in from January!

We had a great time sorting shoes and stocking inventory in the Wearhouse with the Service team from Clyde Hill Elementary School. We are proud to live in a community full of kids that care about other kids!

Check out the mannequins in our Wearhouse- Right now, our teens are loving colored denim, sweaters, and the layered look!

Welcome to the Wearhouse: The Wearhouse is a fantastic resource for foster youth AND caregivers! Wonda is a caregiver with three foster kids who first came to the Wearhouse with hardly anything & left with several outfits each. Every fall, Wonda makes a trip to shop without the kids so that she can pick out special gifts for them. Wonda is grateful for the Wearhouse because it eases the financial burden of providing for three kids & it ensures that she can provide the essentials they need.

Welcome to the Wearhouse: Here's a quick reminder of how the Wearhouse sorts donations. We try our best to provide our youth with sensible and stylish outfits for school so we use S.O.R.T. O.U.T. to ensure the best clothes make it onto the Wearhouse floor for shoppers to choose from!

Welcome to the Wearhouse: Right now, if shoppers bring their own bag, they will get to choose an extra item! Spread the word!

Welcome to the Wearhouse: Meet Brittany, a wonderful member of our team! Brittany has been an Enrichment Assistant with Treehouse since January 2012. She enjoys singing and dancing to 90s pop music (especially the Spice Girls!) on a regular basis—including on Wearhouse shopping days. Brittany grew up in California and attended SPU. She has a passion for the performance arts and hopes to lead drama therapy someday.
