diy foyer table used an old singer sewing maching base that is cast iron then cut an old wire spool top in half torched it to bring out the wood detail and added a couple burn marks for that old barn wood look then waxed it...Everyone loves it! Mais
Years ago I saw a antique sewing machine and table like this in a thrift shop window and it was already white (it looked like it was factory painted, not a home amateur job). It was there for months and I finally broke down and went in to buy it only to see another woman loading it into her car. It was only $188 but I had no room for it in my apartment at the time. I'm still looking for it's twin.
Ummm....with patio coolers all the rage. (We have sold about 10 washtubs for that purpose this summer) I thought this was a cool take on that idea. We find sewing machine bases all the time! Not sure Iwould trash a wagon this nioce, but hey why not!
