This breathtaking installation was created for the 50th Biennial of Venice in 2003, and found it’s home in San Staë church on the Canale Grande. It’s entitled Falling Garden, and is the work of collaborating Swiss artists, Gerda Steiner and Jörg Lenzlinger.
Installation by artist Baptiste Debombourg in a beautiful Abbey called Brauweiler Pulheim near Cologne in Germany. Debombourg used many sheets of glass, wood, nails and white paint. He tries to imitate a flood of water rushing into a room or the influence of ice on a place.
Ran Hwang is a Korean-born artist working in New York, who creates intricate and poetic installations. Hwang is best known for her wall sculptures that make use of common objects like buttons and crystals pinned directly onto the wall of the gallery, using each element like a pixel on a screen.
