Great idea to clear up counter space in bathroom.

Bathroom Organize - Combs, brushes, and toothpaste take up considerable space when laid horizontally on a shelf. Flat-backed self-adhesive cups on the inside of the cabinet door hold them more efficiently. Before pressing the cups in place, line them up between the shelves. To ensure the door can close, put thin items on the shelves in the spots where the cups will take some space.

For keeping toiletries and other items out of sight, a few well-placed baskets can take a bathroom from cluttered to calming. You can also use baskets to store magazines or towels or to display decorative soaps on your vanity. For a small bathroom, Balis recommends stacking baskets with lids on the floor. "Not only are they a great way to stash extra rolls of toilet paper and toiletries, but they can also add visual interest to a room with limited space," she says. Design by Rate My Space use...

Tight-Space Laundry In the compact laundry workstation and storage area of a small bathroom, the stacked European-style washer-dryer set economizes space. A shelf between units pulls out for folding items fresh from the dryer, then slides out of sight. A matchstick shade lowers all the way to the floor, gracefully hiding the utility area when guests are expected.

Implement Every Inch Don't lose an inch of storage in your bathroom cabinet. Use over-the-door hooks to hang towels and install a pullout drawer on tracks inside the cabinet. Corral other items in baskets or pin to keep everything organized.
