Caitlin Ferrarini is the Director of International Programs at United Planet. Caitlin has studied, lived, volunteered, and worked abroad in many capacities. After college, Caitlin volunteered as an English teacher in Quito, Ecuador. During this time she lived with a host family and took Spanish classes. Caitlin understands first- hand the amazing experiences as well as the challenges volunteers encounter when they immerse themselves in a new culture.

Dave Santulli is the Executive Director and founder of United Planet.    Dave lived in Tokyo, Japan for nine years as the CEO of a Tokyo-based trading company.In addition to living in various parts of the world for a significant portion of his life, Dave has traveled to over 100 nations and has studied Spanish, Japanese, and Russian. He created the concept of Relational Diplomacy as a practical method to improve intercultural relations.

Founded in 2001 by Dave Santulli, United Planet began as a small nonprofit organization aimed at fostering cross-cultural understanding through international volunteering programs.

Li Jia oversees the Long-term Quest Program at United Planet. Originally from China, Li studied abroad in the UK and holds a bachelor degree in Tourism Business Management from the University of Birmingham, United Kingdom. Prior to moving to the US and joining the United Planet team, she spent 2 years working for an education abroad consulting company in Beijing, China. She has been working with United Planet since 2007.
