Alice Craddock created this bracelet from her swap beads, and says, "This is a fun piece with an ethnic feel. I love the yellow beads made by Gaea. I felt drawn to add the cute little elephant to this bracelet."
I had great plans for what I received from my partner, Terri G. My plans included a little bead embroidery, a lot of twisted herringbone, pearls (because I sent her some, too), and an elaborate necklace along with a couple of unrelated pieces. You know what they say about plans, yeah? The beads decided they mostly wanted to stay together, and be in one piece. So I created a bail & added a few Czech beads & a gorgeous handmade bronze clasp, and viola!
... and the beads! The heart shaped rose pendant & rectangular link are from Earthenwood Studios, and she also sent a variety of Czech beads, charms, red Malay jade, deep red wood? beads (not sure, but they are lovely & earthy), and seed beads!! This will be so much fun to work with, I am already inspired :)
