To the Clouds
I went up to Snoqualmie Pass tonight with just my dog and camera and I am so glad I did. The moon and clouds were amazing, the wind was blowing the low hanging clouds at a quick pace and I got some wild shots of it. I snowshoed up the Commonwealth Basin trail and started shooting, there was also a glow from the lights at Snoqualmie Summit West ski area. Fall Creek Falls, Tennessee.
I posted a shot of the place a few months ago. Fall Creek Falls is one of the most impressive waterfalls I've seen. It's 256 feet tall, so the icicles you see hanging down are as big around as telephone poles and 30 feet long.
