The AIDS Resource Center of Wisconsin (ARCW) has donated its historical records to the Archives of the UWM Libraries for use by historians and others telling the story of the epidemic in the Midwest. --  ARCW’s historical records document the scope of the organization’s fight against HIV/AIDS and include materials related to ARCW’s governance, public relations, fundraising and advocacy.

In celebration of Dr. Martin Luther King Day, we are highlighting a news film clip of him speaking at UW-Milwaukee on November 23, 1965.  He is first seen speaking to a sold out crowd in the Union Ballroom, and later being interviewed in an unknown location on campus. In his speech, Dr. King addresses the need to solve current problems through action rather than analysis and study.
