Times Square Subway- I stood in a pouring thunderstorm once before running into this quickly flooding train entrance in Times Square. Water off the streets was pouring down the side of the entrance like a waterfall. Once inside, I had to teach two NYC policemen how to purchase and use metro cards.

Dinosaurs on the Hudson being transported to the New York World’s Fair, 1964

Sinclair Oil (Dino gasoline of my youth) transported these dinosaur replicas on the Hudson River to the 1964 New York World’s Fair. My mother brought me back a dino souvenir from the fair.
