I cried for a long time after I finished reading this story. If you’re only going to read one thing today, read this… such a sweet story about a dog and previous owner and with a new owner. Don't know what I would do without my dogs, must read this!
Lessons We Can Learn From - they are so naturally filled with love and gratitude for life~~~love the "let people touch you" and the "never bite when a simple growl will do"! Imagine that in human behavior!
Frozen Frogs In Alaska - During the cold winters, the Alaskan Wood Frog becomes a frog-shaped block of ice. It stops breathing, and its heart stops beating. When Spring arrives the frog thaws and returns to normal going along its merry way.
So VERY true. You cannot cuddle with diamonds, a diamond won't jump up all excited every time you come home, and it won't look at you with complete adoration. (And I actually happen to love diamonds.) But there's nothing like your dog.
So amazingly touching - the story of Shirley and Jenny, two crippled elephants reunited at The Elephant Sanctuary in Tennessee after a separation. The bonding was immediate, intense and unforgettable between the two former circus elephants. SO SWEET!
