Dry stone (Croatia)

Dry stone is a building method where structures are constructed from stones without any mortar to bind them together. It is very widely used in traditional architecture in the Mediterranean part of Croatia for property fencing, and building small huts for shepherds and tools. Construction of dry stone brings harmonious simplicity that perfectly fits into the landscape.
