An absolutely stunning strapless 1950’s party/prom dress in an enchanting confection of shell pink layered tulle and taffeta. The soft shade of pink is ethereal and very romantic. This dress was likely originally designed as a wedding or prom gown and is certainly lovely enough to be worn at a very special occasion. Maker’s label reads “Cotillon Formals”, which produced high end bridal and formal wear during the 1950’s & 60’s.
This dress reminds me of Liesls dress from the Sound of Music when she and Rolfe sing Sixteen Going on Seventeen. I would love to sing and dance in a closed off gazebo in Austria. No, really, I would. Gorge.
