The pizza is spectacular, and the music along with it is just the right combination. The scenery at this winery is beautiful. Rustle Hill offers wine tastings and also over 65 beers.

    Cache River State Natural Area is located in Belknap, IL and is about an hour from Cape Girardeau, MO. This nature area is known for their ancient cypress-tupelo swamp.     Jacques Guibourd House in Ste. Genevieve, MO; was constructed in 1806 in the poteaux-sur-sole style. The house also has hand sewn walls and a double pitched roof. This house in particular is important to the National Register Site because it is the only historic house in town where the visitor can view a "close up" on this type or architecture.     Felix Valle House State Historic Site in Ste. Genevieve, MO is an hour outside of Cape Girardeau. This site includes 3 houses. It shows the life and history from the early 1800's. These exhibits are some of the finest examples of French colonial architecture.

    Mississippi River Observation Deck in New Madrid, MO is an hour from Cape Girardeau. This 120 foot observation deck gives a magnificent view to the Mississippi River. This exact spot was a point of strategic developments for the Civil War.

    Hunter-Dawson State Historic Site is less than an hour from Cape Girardeau. This mansion was built in 1859, and is a pre-Civil War Mississippi River plantation. With 15 rooms, 9 fireplaces, and most of the original furniture to the home. Tours can be given, and making the day trip a great experience to have.

    National Shrine of Our Lady of the Miraculous Medal in Perryville, MO is only 35 minutes from Cape Girardeau. This church was started in 1877, and the Shrine was built to honor our Lady of the Miraculous Medal in 1929.
