tattoo is based off of the idea of the red string of fate, an Asian belief that two people are connected by a red string (tied together by the gods) and they are destined to develop a great friendship, fall in love, or help each other in some way. It’s a reminder that relationships with people are going to continuously change, fall apart, evolve, and improve, and that’s okay - we are connected, nevertheless. // Plus, I think it’s pretty darn cute. sugar skull (dia de los muertos) symbolizing strength and power, death and rebirth. marigolds are thought to guide souls...Love this! I would get it about the size of a dollar bill.

"To reach a port, we must sail. Sometimes with the wind, and sometimes against it. But we must not drift or lie at anchor." I LOVE tattoos. I have 7 so far and would have many more if I could get away with it! This anchor, however, WILL be my next tattoo!

traditional roses. Think I may use these roses as the commemorative tattoo I plan on getting some time after my grandmother passes (she's still alive I just think this would be perfect because of her love for roses)
