    Using Egg Shells in The Garden... nice tips. Although I've never had an issue with shells breaking down in my compost. I don't grind them. It may be because I don't have access to my own fresh eggs though! Jealous! They are also great occasionally down the sink disposal with a 1/2 lemon rind to keep it clean!

    Simple solutions that I should have already thought of! Planting! Instead of putting rocks in the bottom of big porch planters, fill the bottom with sealed empty plastic 20 ounce bottles! They give the pot the drainage it needs, without adding all that extra weight!
