To my beautiful daughter Paige Alyssa Morgan...I love you! Your strength, wit, intellect, sense of humor, creativity, caring and compassion never cease to amaze me. Your are an incredible young woman with the potential for so much more than I know we both think possible.
misogyny is a terrible thing. to shame your children for loving their mother. to humiliate your wife in front of her children until they feel it is the only means of or hope for true survival/prosperity/escape from the same type of life and treatment.
"The process of shaping the child....shapes also the mother herself. Reverence for her sacred burden calls her to all that is pure and good, that she may teach primarily by her own humble, daily example." ~ Elisabeth Elliot
At the mall, I'd always end up pushing the empty stroller and carrying my daughter. But she would wrap her chubby little arms around my neck and kiss my face over and over. I'm so glad I was present enough to not only suffer the sore back, but enjoy every second of it. I swear I just blinked and she is now 15 going on 21.
