Every designer should have a shot list. Your photos should "hook" your next client. They should speak to your ideal client. MAKE THEM SPECTACULAR. Photos should be styled so they look like they belong in a magazine and they should have a uniform tonal value. There should be a combination of portfolio shots ( wide shots ) and beauty shots ( tight shots ). Wide shots are great for your website portfolio and tight shots are perfect for sprinkling into your instagram feed.
