I got this idea from a fellow elementary music teacher in my district. Cut pool noodles into 4 and use as rhythm sticks for the little ones. It's safe and not nearly as loud! I just got finished cutting up this set (super fast and easy with a serrated knife) from noodles I bought online. Can't wait to try them!

Where was this idea when I took my Music fir Children class in college?!? Great idea: Rhythm pizza demonstrates the relationships of whole, half, quarter, and eighth notes. Also a good way to incorporate math in the music classroom. -- I came up with this yeeearrs ago, because I'm so smart...obviously.
