Agave - Uses & Recipes

Agave (pronounced ah-GAH-vay), is sweeter than honey and 1 1/2 times sweeter than table sugar, so less is needed to sweeten foods and beverages. Agave dissolves well and is ideal to use in cold drinks, as a substitute for table sugar or honey in stir frying, sauces, baking or hot drinks. When using agave as a substitute for table sugar, use about 1/2 your regular portion.
