A lot of people have sworn by this, I'll have to try it later. EDIT: Tried it out and it worked amazingly well! Try a small patch in the corner first though, there is a possibility it may bleach darker carpets or discolor them slightly.
Here's a nontoxic but effective way to clean your tub: Add one teaspoon of liquid soap and several drops of an antibacterial essential oil (such as tea tree, eucalyptus, rosemary, or peppermint) to one cup of baking soda. Add just enough water to form a paste, and use it with a sponge or brush to scour bathtub surfaces.
Cleaning fruit - fill sink with water, add 1 C. vinegar, mix. Add all fruit and soak for 10 minutes. Water will be dirty and fruit will sparkle with no wax or dirty film. Great for Berries too--keeps them from molding.
Fill a spray bottle 1/8 with rubbing alcohol, add a drop of dishwashing soap, a few drops of scented oil (optional, but makes it smell so good), fill the rest with water, shake together, and you're good to go! It makes your granite (or any countertop) shine and feel so smooth at a fraction of the price~I love it and use it on my appliances as well.
