Tagging files Mountain Lion - Pre Mavericks - YouTubeIt is not absolutely necessary to wait until OS X Mavericks becomes available to tag your files in OS X. By using the application called Tag It you can already add OpenMeta tag tags to your files. I also use the application Default Folder X which gives me the opportunity to add tags when I am saving any of my files in all of my applications. Apple will be making tagging a lot easier in OS X Mavericks and possibly merging it with labels.

You don't have to wait for OSX Mavericks to tag your files. You can do it now in Mountain Lion.
