Three-person suicide coffin. The story behind this custom coffin is that a couple’s infant daughter died, and they agreed to commit suicide and be buried with the daughter. At the last minute, they backed-out and never picked up the coffin from the coffin-maker. Here it rests at the National Museum of Funeral History, Houston.

A two-headed dolphin has been discovered on a Turkish beach. Teacher Tugrul Metin was walking along the beach at Izmir when he spotted the dead mammal. At three-and-a-half feet in length, the year old calf has two heads but a shared tail. Metin notified the authorities of his discovery and the mammal's body was taken to a nearby science laboratory for further investigation. Marine biologist Mehmet Gokoglu, from Ak Deniz University, said he “welcomed” the chance to study such a unique animal

This is a beauty! This is an antique left prosthetic female arm constructed almost entirely of leather. The hand features a moving opposable thumb and the position of the fingers are a delicate relaxed pose. The hand is entirely removable at the wrist should a different tool or hand need to be placed. The arm is in almost perfect condition for age with expected wear and hairline cracking to the biased leather edges. The device was created for a female with an amputation that reached below the el
