Ruling the waves: Three generations of Royals join the Queen as she sets sail down the Thames on glorious Jubilee river pageant
Even though many question the importance of the Royal Family - I believe the part they play in English tradition is vital. The sense of community that stems from the Royals is over-whelming. Take for example; the Wedding of Prince William and Kate, or the Jubilee celebrations in this picture. Here we also have the Houses of Parliament - Walking over the bridge every day to University where I study Law; I can admire the building where legislation and law is created for Britain. #pinyourcity

Brainy is the new sexy–Sherlock returns for Season #2
London is the home to many characters that people all over the world have heard of and the backdrop to all the stories we read; such as many of Charles Dickens' stories and the tales of Sherlock. I love my city because you don't have to walk far before you see a street name you have read in a book. You get a whole new perspective on that street you may have otherwise forgotten about. #pinyourcity
My friends in London have a unique sense of fashion. Someone once said "Style is a way of expressing yourself without Words". London tells a story of expression through the variety of styles in all the areas, from Shoreditch to Camden and Peckham to Putney; creating micro-communities of story boards all over the city! #pinyourcity Models, Menswear, High Fashion Photography, Friends, Men's Fashion, Editorial, George Michael, Men, Mens Fashion

some people are standing near a wall with graffiti on it and a train is in the background
Here are a few offices that my friends work in. They are old underground trains transformed by art and placed on the top of an old building. I love London and it's desire to deviate from the norm! #pinyourcity

Monument near William Blake's unmarked grave at Bunhill Fields in London. The historical ambience in London is why I love my city the most. London has been the home to many incredible people and also where those people have chosen to remain. #pinyourcity

UK: Stonewall to Fund 1,000 Marriage Equality Bus Ads - Marriage Equality Watch
In April, Gay rights charity Stonewall had a thousand London buses carry its equality message during the government’s consultation on how to implement marriage for gay couples. London is a place where progressive opinions are openly shared - and enforced! This is what makes my city not only liveable, but loveable. #pinyourcity

5 Different Things to Do in London
Supreme Court of Justice, London - Heart of the Legal World. This is oposite my University, here I can cross the road and watch as many court cases as I want. Live! There is so much to do in London that doesn't cost a penny. Not only can you watch the court cases, but the architecture in London can be a free day trip within itself! #pinyourcity

Shoreditch, London - A great place to try a cheap Indian Curry on Brick Lane or go for a vintage clothes shopping spree at one of the many thrifts stores. Allowing you to shop, but with a student wallet! The streets of Shoreditch are vibrant with art work like this displayed on walls all through the area. #pinyourcity

Boris Bikes! These are located all over London. If I decide the walk is too far, I can hop on one of these and use it for the whole 24 hours for only a quid! I can take them to work, or just to meet a friend! This is why London is liveable! #pinyourcity
