      Holy cow. Tons. We do many stories from around the world to show that the hero's journey layout applies so any of them.

      Cinderella, Sir Gawain and the Green Knight, The Tale of Perseus (so fun!), A Worn Path, A Very Old Man with Enormous Wings, and then we break them into groups and each group gets assigned another story and they have to map the hero's journey and figure out how they connect with the other stories we've read. All together they read 5-6 and then we move into Catcher and they track Holden's journey through New York City.
