Walker Sisters Cabin and Little Greenbrier School in the Great Smoky Mountains National Park near Gatlinburg, Tn. John Walker left his daughters the homestead and the surviving structures include the cabin, spring house, and corn crib. The five spinster sisters became local legends due to their adherence to traditional ways of living and their refusal to leave the home. The surviving structures were placed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1976.
