$My wife and I took Lucky to the vet for a dental. I walked him outside (leashed) for a potty break. As we walked back, a large, unleashed pit bull ran up and grabbed Lucky. Four year old, 15 lb Whiskey was attacked by a neighbor’s escaped pit bull today. Thankfully he was not killed. He was treated for four deep puncture wounds on his back and neck. He needed stiches. The rest of the wounds are superficial. “We feel so blessed he wasn't killed. It could have ended tragically. Thank you so much to everyone for their prayers and positive thoughts.” The pit bull owner actually took responsibility and paid $2000 in vet costs and moved the pit bull out of their home. I had a 7 year old yorkie and we often went for a walk. On 13 july 2019 we were attacked by 2 pitbulls. I tried to fight them off and my yorkie (Hoppy) also fought back, but we were no match for the bloodthirsty pit bulls and he died in my arms. Today a neighbor's pit bull grabbed our Risky under the fence and killed him right in front of us. He just jammed the bottom of the fence open and grabbed him.. 12-yo Louie (8 lbs) was attacked by a neighbor’s pit bull at an outdoor party in our neighborhood. Both dogs were leashed. The pit bull's owner did nothing. Three grown men were beating the pit bull and it wouldn’t release and she just stood there watching her dog kill my angel. The pit owner was given a citation after we demanded a proper investigation, but she's fighting it in court. She's playing the victim and won't accept responsibility. My baby was viciously attacked by a neighbor’s Pit Bull dog. The neighbor knew their dog was aggressive and took the dog out without any precautions and so my baby and another neighbor’s dog got attacked!! He is terrified and my husband and I are traumatized. We’ve only noticed a big bite bruise on his left hip; the vet recommended icing it. Pray that my baby is only bruised. Getting him closely looked at tomorrow morning. Bull Dog, Icing, Pray, Husband

Tommy was having his morning walk and was savagely attacked and shaken by a large Lab-Staffie cross. He was rushed to the emergency vet. He underwent a 3 hour long surgery to save his life. He has extensive damage, lost a testicle, internal bleeding, might loose a kidney. It has been devastating to us and we're still in shock. My husband was walking Snickers on a leash when a loose pit bull ran from my neighbor's porch, grabbing Snickers in his mouth and ripping his stomach wide open. His intestines were hanging out. My husband wrapped him in a towel and rushed him to the hospital. One month, 3 surgeries, and $18,000 later, Snickers was able to return home to us. The vet said it was a miracle he lived. I was walking my 6 lb Chorkie when I saw my neighbor and his pit. I crossed the street to avoid them. The neighbor proceeded to follow me, insisting his pitbull was friendly. Before I could pick up my dog, the two dogs' leashes tangled and the pit became aggressive. I dropped my dog’s leash so he could run, but my neighbor simultaneously let go of his leash... It was like a horror movie watching the pit chase down my little guy who was running scared for his life... My mom was walking all three of our dogs ON THEIR LEASHES when a much larger and aggressive pit bull escaped its gate and, unprovoked, blindsided my mom and immediately attacked and killed our beloved Goshka on the spot in a matter of seconds. It knocked my mom to the ground and then went for Swaggy and bit him on the rear. My mom kicked the pit as she pulled Swaggy away, and was able to pull Minni (our third yorkie) away as well. Riley was attacked by a neighbor’s recently adopted pit bull, who escaped his fence, ran half a block, then jumped 7.5’ to snatch Riley out of his dad’s hands, crushing the tiny Yorkie in his teeth and running away with him. Dad gave chase. The pit bull shook Riley, ripping open his intestines. The brutal attack went on far too long, as both dogs’ owners desperately tried to stop the attack. Richard Furioni, 84, was walking Jack when a pit bull charged from a nearby house and clamped his jaws on the little dog. The larger dog would not let loose even after Furioni beat on its head repeatedly with his fist. Another neighbor beat on the pit bull with a stick. The dog weighs 40 to 50 pounds. The pit bull’s owner was finally able to get the dog off the Yorkie, but it was too late. Jack was dead. Riley lost his life after a distracted neighbor didn’t control her dog (a pit mix) and that dog rushed us in the street. Three adults couldn't stop the attack. Hitting the pit with a shovel had no effect and Riley was killed. Riley was a happy, well-trained therapy dog who served at hospitals and read with children at schools. He was also involved in agility classes and competitions for seven years. He had a large following online, with many fans who loved him very much. He is dearly missed. She needs an operation to fix her jawbone, which has been ripped and broken in two. She is currently at the vet. She's stable, but needs to go to a specialist for an emergency operation. Phoebe was viciously attacked by a neighbor’s pit bull who escaped after his owner opened the door. The pit bull made a beeline for Phoebe, who was being walked on a leash. A horrific fight ensued between the pit bull and Phoebe’s mom, but Phoebe escaped uninjured, thanks to her mom’s quick thinking, plus a neighbor’s help. I was walking Pebbles one night, when a big Staffie/pit bull jumped out of a car window and literally got most of my dog in its mouth. I dropped to the floor and jammed my arm in its mouth to stop it biting down on her. My partner dragged the pit backwards by the legs. Luckily, Pebbles wasn't injured, but the squealing from my baby was a horrifying noise I never want to hear again. After our dogs were separated, I began screaming in the pit owner's face.
