Have children count doors, windows, people, etc. in their home and write the number in each corresponding box. It is good practice for counting and writing numbers. Would be a great send home activity and then make a graph in the classroom the next day.
Graphic that explains the different types of classroom assessment (I'd add importance of feedback to formative). Inspired by the book Mindsets in the Classroom by Mary Cay Ricci---Crockett's Classrroom
In this unique collection of ten domino games from around the world, the authors clearly explain domino basics, then show young readers all sorts of ways to improve their math, memory and thinking skills.
